KIVI NIRIA RAI Symposium

Truck traffic makes the air clean?
Towards less soot/fine dust and NOx emissions

Friday 14 October 2005, RAI Congress Centre hall R/S, Amsterdam

The KIVI NIRIA RAI symposium has been organised many times by the KIVI NIRIA Department of Vehicle Technology in cooperation with the RAI Association. The symposium was aimed at employees of vehicle manufacturers and suppliers, governments, research institutes, fuel industry, engineering offices and students. After the symposium, people could visit the AutoRAI.

Theme: "Cargo traffic makes the air clean?"

What developments are taking place among commercial vehicle manufacturers to meet the new €4 and €5 standards? Are they able to solve the problems surrounding excessive concentrations of fine dust. Which, especially in the Netherlands, are causing delays in building homes and new roads?

Several speakers from research and industry gave their views on the subject

The following presentations were made during the symposium. By clicking on the title of the presentation, it can be downloaded.
