Master class Convincing Presentation
Description
Two-day training course:
Monday 14 April 2008, 19.00-22.00
and
Saturday 19 April 2008, 09.00-17.00 (location to be determined)
If you have attended at least 3 of the 4 communication training courses (presentation techniques, effective communication, meeting techniques and negotiation techniques = desirable) you may think you are ready. But there is still so much to learn and practice. During this master class, the finishing touches will be added. How do you demonstrate true persuasiveness. How do you deal with criticism and negative remarks? How do you give criticism? How do you say no? How to develop creative thinking skills? How do I really formulate clearly, to_the_point and therefore briefly? How should I improvise, especially if I want to use humour? How do I show empathy, rhetoric and body-language? In short, lots of questions. Maybe you already know the answer to some of them. Perhaps you don't. In that case, you should definitely register. Otherwise, a great time to practice again and get feedback.
TRAINING APPROACH
The training has a practical content, connecting as much as possible to daily practice. A large number of short exercises are carried out at high speed to clarify effects and practice techniques. Confrontation is an explicit part of these exercises. The feedback should lead to a complete personal assessment with recommendations for future action.
PREPARATION
Three weeks before the master class, participants will receive an assignment at home to prepare a short presentation.
