Young KIVI meets Tata Steel

Exclusively for KIVI members up to 35 years old.
Tata Steel invites KIVI members to an afternoon at the Tata Steel IJmuiden site.
We all gather at Beverwijk station. There we will be picked up at 12:10 by transport company Jan de Wit. If you come with your own transport, this is of course also possible. The route description is enclosed. After a presentation and a company film with welcome, you will make a tour of the premises and visit the hot strip mill. After this, you will get a closing presentation by a Young Engineer working at Tata Steel and we will end the day with drinks. The working language of this day is Dutch.
Safety. At TATA Steel in IJmuiden, safety is paramount. A number of things are therefore mandatory:
* A valid proof of identity (passport or identity card)
* Wearing closed shoes and long trousers and the personal protection equipment issued by the supervisor(s), such as a helmet.
* It is not allowed to take photographs/film and video recordings on our company premises and in the factories.
* The high priority for safety also implies that factories are sometimes not accessible for disabled persons.
*With less than 15 registrations, we are forced to cancel this tour.
** The maximum number of participants for this activity is 25.
