A2 tunnel project in Maastricht
Description
Visit to the Infocentre and two viewpoints of the A2 tunnel project in Maastricht.
We will be welcomed at the project's Infocentre in the Geusselt stadium in Maastricht.
In this centre, the construction of the project will be explained to us by means of the model and an overview of the work of the project will be given in the form of videos and (aerial) photos of the various phases of the project.
The many permits required for such a large project will also be explained.
After completing the presentation, we will take a look ourselves along the project's impressive construction pit. A visit inside the cofferdam is unfortunately not possible for safety reasons, but will be possible on Saturday 24 May 2014, when the open day of construction is also organised for this A2 tunnel project.
The group will walk to two viewpoints:
* viewpoint Geusselt-Zuid, with a view of the construction of the tunnel,
* the temporary bridge Pres. Rooseveltlaan Burg. Bauduinstraat.
After walking past the viewpoints and answering the questions, we will return to the starting point at the visitor centre.
At Dreamz Apple Park, drinks will be offered to the participants of the company visit.

14.00 - 15.00 Reception and explanation of the project.
15.00 - 16.00 Walk along the construction pit and visit to two viewpoints.
16.00 17.00 Walk back and closing drinks in Dreamz Apple Park
