At the Discovery museum, we have been able to arrange a visit to the Einstein Telescope Education Centre (ETEC) exclusively for the VIZL / KIVI. This is an educational centre where you can learn about one of the most fascinating scientific projects of our time. In an interactive way, you will be introduced to the secrets of the Einstein Telescope, black holes and gravitational waves.

Programme and timetable
12:45 pm Walk-in and gather at reception.
13:00 pm Coffee/tea, flan and fruit water in the restaurant.
13:30 h Start with the award-winning film "Spacetime", which impressively brings to life the mysteries
of the universe.
13:45 hrs Interactive demonstration where principles behind Einstein Telescope, black holes and
gravitational waves are explained.
14:30 hrs Discover and explore for yourself in the education centre the techniques behind the Einstein Telescope.
15:30 End.

The number of available places is limited to a maximum of 40.
Therefore, we apply the rule: first come, first served.
If there are more than 40 participants, we will set up a waiting list.

Registration
For VIZL / KIVI members, we ask for a contribution of € 18.00 and for guests € 20.00.
You can register by sending an e-mail to commissaris-BH@vizl.eu and simultaneously transferring the said contribution(s) before 20 March to account NL62 RABO 0173 6306 85, stating "ETEC".
The order will be determined by the time the treasurer has received the payment.
When the registration deadline has passed, you will receive a message confirming your registration or a rejection if the maximum number of participants has been reached. In the latter case, your contribution will of course be refunded.

Practical information
- Parking is free in the station car park, within walking distance of the museum.
- As always, participation is at your own risk.
- Photographs are taken during VIZL's activities which can be used for
communication purposes, such as on the VIZL website.
- By participating in the activities, you give permission for the use of these photographs.
