The future of energy-efficient and sustainable installations
There are 2 types of heat pumps:
1 air-to-air. This type has lower efficiency as the outside temperature drops. Below 0 degrees C, the outdoor unit will have to be defrosted to still work.
2 air-water This type of heat pump gets its heat from an open or closed geothermal source and has consistently high efficiency.
Closed systems can store cooling heat in summer, as well as excess solar energy. In winter, this heat can be used for heating the building.

Intellisol: The future of energy-efficient and sustainable installations
On 1 April, we will visit the company Intellisol. This company only installs energy-efficient and sustainable installations they are proud of themselves. They always conduct in-depth studies to offer smart solutions tailored to the customer. Quality and efficiency are not buzzwords for them, but concepts they work on every day. Since 2006, they have worked on more than 3,500 projects in Limburg and far beyond.
The Intellisol team consists of specialised installers, each with years of experience, Calculators and Draughtsmen, Engineers, Lighting specialists, ICT experts and Administrative staff. This is therefore a combined Engineering and Installation company.
Training and further education is very important in this ever-changing sector. They therefore ensure that the knowledge of both installers and designers remains up-to-date with all new developments and techniques. Their team therefore has the necessary certificates in the field of energy, solar panels, lighting studies, heating techniques and energy storage.
This way, they can always offer their customers the best solution.
The presentation will focus on the following topics within building energy technologies:
Solar Panels, Geothermal, Heat Pumps/Air conditioners, Battery systems, Heating systems for sustainable buildings.
Making new residential areas and Business parks sustainable.
At geothermal mainly involves heat/cold storage systems in both open and closed versions. These air/water geothermal systems give higher efficiency than air/air systems. This can be as high as 50%. So a lower load on the E-net. These systems are extremely suitable for business premises and new residential areas because of the lower electricity costs and heating in winter and cooling in summer. So there are sustainable seasonal storage systems.
