Profile board member Region Limburg South

The Limburg South Region brings engineers together on a multidisciplinary social basis. Geographically, the Region covers the area: Parkstad, the Heuvelland and the Westelijke Mijnstreek. About 450 KIVI members live in the region.

We cooperate closely with the KIVI region Maastricht and we are part of the DIK foundation (Drielanden ingenieurs Kontakten), a cooperation between engineering associations in the Euregio.

As the Limburg South region, we organise around ten meetings for members and guests every year. These can include lectures, excursions and company visits.
We maintain contacts with the education field and promote technical education in the region through the Euregional Technology Award.

To maintain and possibly expand these tasks, we are looking for enthusiastic new board members who recognise themselves in the profile below:

  • age (preferably) younger than 55;
  • Technical education following or completed at HBO or university level;
  • Interest in social and technical topics;
  • Knowledge of social media and its application in practice;
  • Time to attend board meetings and take on a board role.
