Biorefinery
Description
The realisation that easily extractable fossil raw materials are becoming scarce, that greenhouse gases have a negative effect on climate development and that we also need to use renewable raw materials such as biomass sparingly, has in recent years triggered a major development to split biomass into a number of fractions so that each of these fractions can be used optimally. This allows us and at the same time to create more economic value and reduce more CO2 emissions. Several examples will be presented in the lecture
