Description

The National LNG Platform is working to introduce LNG (liquefied natural gas) as a new, cleaner and quieter fuel for road transport and shipping. LNG is an important transition fuel towards a sustainable transport sector.

The National LNG Platform connects companies and governments and provides a place to exchange knowledge and find solutions to common problems. The platform is discussion partner for various ministries such as the Ministry of Economic Affairs from the perspective of energy policy, the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment from the perspective of environmental policy and the Ministries of Finance and Security and Justice. We are also working on a strong network internationally. This is necessary because transport is cross-border by definition and LNG offers opportunities internationally.
