SEMINAR: Climate change
Wednesday 25 October, 18.00 - 20.30 (date moved up a week)
We are guests of WUR for this meeting.
Climate change, urbanisation and biodiversity. Rising sea levels, extreme weather and increasing food production. These are just a few examples, but certainly not the least, that determine the spatial planning of the Netherlands. There appears to be a need for a far-sighted view: what will the Netherlands look like in a hundred years if you look at these factors? Wageningen University & Research has recorded a vision: this is what a future-proof Netherlands could look like in 2120.
It is an integral vision: that is, it looks at the layout of the Netherlands in 2120 from various scientific disciplines. For example, from the perspective of agriculture, biodiversity, renewable energy, water or the circular economy.

Speakers: Tim van Hattum, Programme Leader Climate WUR
Cost: € 5.00 for KIVI members; € 25.00 for non-members; free for students
