The KIVI Region Gelderland division, together with the company H2O Drones, is organising a demonstration of different types of UNDERWATER Drones. The demonstration will be provided by the Genemuiden location and made visible via a live stream. The applications of these drones will also be discussed in detail.

Programme:

  • 14.00 h Reception of participants with coffee/tea
  • 14.30 h Opening by chairman of the day Sjanne Wolterink (KIVI region Gelderland)
  • 14.40 h Explanation of different types of underwater drones with emphasis on APPLICATIONS
  • 15.40 Hour Short break

Possible applications include:

- Inspecting all civilian assets below the waterline;

- Inspecting firewater tanks and basements;

- Vacuuming the bottom of tanks and basements;

- Removal of soil-borne materials;

- Salvaging objects that have become submerged in water;

- Search and Rescue;

- Cleaning objects with a high-pressure cavitation lance;

- Performing steel thickness measurements;

- Inspecting pipes, siphons and culverts from the inside up to 750 metres in length;

- Sludge thickness measurements in sewage treatment plants;

- Taking soil samples;

- Inspecting ships;

- Surveying objects, components and product verification.
