Description
The paper and cardboard industry has a long history in Gelderland. Half of the mills in the province have existed for more than 350 years. Practically speaking, our industry has been both bio-based and also circular for hundreds of years and we like to show that. Current recycling has been on the rise since the second half of the 20th century and it too offers all kinds of new options for circular products such as bio-plastics, bio-aromatics, bio-oils, etc. Ostensibly, the gap between the large-scale but basically still artisanal paper and board industry and micro- and also nanotechnology seems unbridgeable but nothing could be further from the truth. Be surprised by a host of surprising developments in the paper and board chain
