Smart Emission
Description
The 'Smart Emission' project revolves around mapping air quality, noise, vibration and meteorological indicators in the city at a fine-scale level, by residents using so-called citizen sensor networks. The pilot study focuses on the city of Nijmegen (within the city's municipal boundaries). Here, a testbed will be set up where the project team, in cooperation with residents, will map local variation in air quality (NO2, CO, CO2, O3), noise and vibrations using affordable sensors
