KIVI Region Midden organises activities for KIVI members, focusing in particular on members living and/or working in the province of Utrecht, Zuid-Holland oost, Noord Holland zuid oost, Flevoland zuid, west Gelderland and the Betuwe.
Company visits, lectures, workshops and social activities for engineers
Region Central organises a dozen meetings a year in the form of company visits, lectures, workshops and social activities. These activities are listed on this department website, see Upcoming Activities or Reports of Past Activities. Furthermore, they are reported in our engineering magazine The Engineer and in our e-mail announcements (about 10 per year). In addition, you can follow our activities through our social media channels.

Become a regional solid?
Membership of our section KIVI Region Midden is open to all KIVI members. Region members receive our mailing (see above), have priority at meetings where there is an attendance limit and can influence the region's activities. Our department's budget is partly determined by the number of members. By becoming a member, you show that you appreciate and value the activities of our region. The KIVI Executive Board warmly recommends region membership.

About 10 times a year, we send out a mailing from KIVI Region Central with information about our meetings and other activities. Activities of other KIVI divisions organising a meeting in our region are also mentioned. Region members receive this mailing automatically as part of their membership. Non (region) members can subscribe by sending an e-mail to midden@kivi.nl.
What is the KIVI?
The Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI) is the professional association of engineers in the Netherlands. With more than 17,500 members, we provide a vibrant platform for sharing knowledge and discussing innovative perspectives across disciplines. We also support our members in their careers through engineering coaches and other services, and they receive the monthly engineering magazine De Ingenieur.
The various regional and professional departments at the heart of the association organise interesting activities throughout the year, such as lectures, debates, symposiums and company visits. Thus, we regularly offer you the chance to visit fascinating places you would otherwise not have access to or to get unique information from top engineers.
