Networking is something most of us learn from an early age, building and maintaining contacts. But - when it comes to work - it suddenly seems complicated and difficult. Many of our clients have this experience. But once you get going - while networking - you discover how pleasant it can be to meet new relationships, maintain network contacts, tap into them and... reap the benefits.
Netwerk-Partners has made networking their speciality. They have published several books on the subject and provide training courses and workshops. Els Nijssen will give a workshop 'Networking works' for anyone who wants to experience how to achieve more with networking in a fun and active way.
The workshop is for anyone who wants to improve their networking skills to get more out of relationships, to network more easily at symposia, seminars and business meetings, but perhaps also to network for a (new) job. The focus of the workshop is on experiencing what is a fun and appropriate way of networking and what tools are available.
The workshop will focus on the following components:
- What is networking? What does a networker need to know and be able to do?
- Need for a good elevator pitch.
- Practice networking in different situations. Making contact, communication, conversation, conclusion.
- Mapping a network. How do you get from one network to another?
It is recommended to read the book Networking it's (not) that easy by Rob van Eeden before the workshop to get the most out of it.
The evening closes with a convivial KIVI NIRIA drink to have time, in addition to the 'hard work', to have a drink with colleagues members and to try out the new skills right away!
