Sustainable Doing 2013
Description
Theme lustrum edition Duurzaam Doen: Transformation towards a Healthy and Sustainable City
Duurzaam Doen is the annual event at which Utrecht University of Applied Sciences shows with concrete examples how it works with partners in the region towards a sustainable and healthy society. The theme of this fifth edition is: 'Transformation towards a Healthy and Sustainable City'. The Healthy and Sustainable City symbolises Utrecht's integral approach to sustainability: a balance between economic growth, the environment and people's well-being. The conference will cover a range of sustainable solutions: from energy reduction and transition to sustainable food and health in the built environment. The conference is the closing day of SURE2013 (Sustainable Innovation in the Utrecht Region): the innovation week for frontrunners in sustainable development in the Utrecht region.
