Description
Guided tour interspersed with several culinary courses and lecture on the history of this castle and other castles in Limburg.
18.00h: Reception in the Garden Room.While enjoying a welcome drink with appetisers, Maria Bonten will give an introduction about the history of Daelenbroeck.
18.45h:
Continued walk through forecourt and then main castle.
In the atmospheric Rentmeesterzaal, Maria will give a visual presentation on the most beautiful castles in Limburg, European noble ladies, Countesses of Limburg, medieval clothing and hairstyles that were kept in check with sugar water!
19.15h:You will wander on and pass the Knights' Hall where Maria will introduce you to courtly love, troubadours and medieval table manners. In addition, appetisers will be served in the vestibule.
20.00h:
via the main exit of the castle and along the moats, we will walk to the former castle farm, finally ending the gastronomic walk again in the outer castle. The main course and dessert will be served in the outer castle.
