Unique visit to Ketelhuis Steyl
Description
On 6 April, we will be guests at the Ketelhuis in Steyl of the former printing works. Especially for us, the steam generators present will be on display. The present boilers and generators have been renovated and will also be put into operation during our visit. A unique opportunity to take a closer look at them.
The programme starts at 11.00 am and lasts about 1½ hours.
We start with a PowerPoint presentation on the history of the mission house, Steyl and, of course, the printing works with boiler house.
After this, we will go to the boilers and machinery. There will be an opportunity to see the machines up close. Here, we will also go over the installations and explain their operation, after which the machine will run.
We will conclude with coffee and flan.
Registration for this unique activity is possible until 27 March 2015.
