Unusual searches for industrial heritage
A presentation by Rein Reuter and Jean Janssen
Presentation
A fascinating presentation on industrial heritage in which the speakers will explain both their adventurous quests for it and the images of it.
What you will hear and see is about their explorations of industrial objects from earlier days. Or what was/is left of them! They started cycling along the forts of the Defence Line of Amsterdam and gradually moved on to more distant regions in Germany and Belgium. They preferred objects that had something to do with coal or steel. Because they actually discovered something special on every trip, they have a wealth of stories. Not only about all kinds of technical objects, but also about the people they met in the neighbourhood. Together with the images, you will get a good picture of "their view of the world of industrial heritage".

About the speakers

Nowadays, the gentlemen spend much of their free time photographing, with a spin-off from photo exhibitions and lectures on their photo-shooting experiences.
