ORGAWORLD is an innovative and fast-growing company in the field of organic residue recycling and energy. It focuses on transitioning waste streams into end products such as energy, fuels and agricultural products. The company is eight years old and has plants in the Netherlands, Canada and soon in the UK. It processes organic waste from industry (e.g. over-date products) and from private individuals. (GFT waste).
The company focuses on simple processes, which are robust, with as little "technology" as possible and low operating costs.In the tunnel composting plant in Lelystad, only 5 people worked. The end products are compost (95%) and disposable material.The plant under construction at Hornhaven in Amsterdam will convert frying fat from restaurants and snack bars into biodiesel, bioethanol and biogas. An interesting afternoon, in which 16 members participated.

At Hornhaven in Amsterdam, a large installation is currently under construction where, for example, waste deep-frying fat from restaurants and snack bars is converted into biodiesel, bio-ethanol and biogas.

We will be received at Zeeasterweg in Lelystad where we will receive an explanation of the installation at Hornweg in Amsterdam and the operation of the Tunnel Composting Installation in Lelystad. Followed by a visit to this in stallation.
