The Wereldomroep reports in ten languages:Dutch, Papiamento, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Arabic, French, Sarnami and Chinese. There are broadcasts on shortwave via its own transmitters but also on 3 thousand other broadcasting stations cooperation with partners abroad. Hosts Middelkoop, Bek, van Leeuwen and Klees were able to tell fascinating stories about their businesses. We visited a live broadcast of Dutch news and tasted the atmosphere at the large centre table on the editorial floor where all those (language) editors pick up the news and take it far away. Sound technology was demonstrated in several studios. Nowadays, television is also included in the range for communicating with people abroad alongside the internet. For developing countries, there is training of media specialists. There were 25 participants
