We are increasingly aware of the importance of using raw materials in a sustainable way. Yet people still make too little use of recycled plastics, often because designers and manufacturers are insufficiently aware of the possibilities. Governments pay a lot of attention to separate collection of plastic waste but is it effective?
During this meeting, we are guests of AKG in Vroomshoop. Gerrit Klein Nagelvoort of AKG will inform you about the process of plastic recycling and the application of recycled plastic in products. There will also be a tour to experience AKG's production facilities.
AKG Polymers is active in the recycling and compoundering of polypropylene and polyethylene, versatile and high-quality plastics. The company specialises in supplying granules of consistent quality from corporate waste streams and AKG Moulding produces various products based on recycled plastics.
