Description
The Netherlands' only car tyre brand Vredestein has been under the umbrella of lndia-based Apollo Tyres Ltd since 2009, a relatively young multinational with offices and production sites around the world. The Vredestein tyre headquarters and production facility has been in the Enschede port since 1946. In fact, the Vredestein brand has been around for over 100 years and has developed into a premium brand in the tyre industry during those years.
At the production complex in Enschede, quantities have now reached as many as seven million summer, winter and 4-season tyres a year. In addition, high-quality agricultural tyres are made in Enschede in addition to production in India. Tyres in many shapes and sizes: a total of almost 700 different specifications!
In addition to these huge numbers of production tyres, test series of tyres and components are run. All this requires enormous flexibility. Quite a challenge in terms of planning and logistics as well as process technology.
Safety shoes are required for the tour. If you have your own, please bring them with you due to limited stock.
