For a long time, humans have been inventing all kinds of new technologies and products. The way we solve problems and develop products is still influenced by the success of the industrial revolution. Nature has been developing its own systems and products for millions of years based on different laws and systems. What advantageous properties does a leaf vein structure or the skin of a shark have and what can we learn from them?
Biomimicry shows us that we can take more inspiration from nature. Besides inventive and especially beautiful solutions, nature also offers examples based on sustainability.
During this presentation at D'Andrea & Evers Design, you will be taken into the world of Biomimicry and will be inspired by the laws and systems on which nature develops its products, and how we can make meaningful use of them.
