Description

Visit BMA Ergonomics 'Recyclable Design and Reuse Materials'

We are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of using raw materials in a sustainable way. But what does that mean for product design and what do consumers think about it? How can we use recycled materials without adversely affecting product quality? What should we pay attention to when making choices for the sustainable use of materials? How can recyclability and reuse of components already be taken into account during design?

At this meeting, we will be hosted by BMA Ergonomics in Zwolle, which already has some experience in designing and producing products in a sustainable way. They will give insight into their approach, results, opportunities and challenges.

Knowledge institutions such as SaxionHogeschool, Hogeschool Windesheim and the University of Twente are conducting research on this topic. This meeting is also a sounding board session of the RAAK project "Recycling in Design" to share with you some of the project's findings and receive feedback on them for further research
