KIVI-NIRIA Oost Nederland
Vereinigung Deutscher Ingenieure Bezirksverein Osnabrück-Emsland.
Vereinigung der Straßenbau- und
Verkehrsingenieure in Niedersachsen e.V.
Bezirksgruppen Ostfriesland und Emsland

The purpose of the meeting is threefold:
1. getting to know each other
2. discussing potential joint - and future - events and activities.
3. initial exploration regarding cooperation on the theme "Energy in the future in the Netherlands and Germany"

ad 1. this aim will be given further shape through a joint dinner.
ad 2. this goal aims at a joint continuation of the activities and events already held by KIVI-NIRIA Noord Nederland in Niedersachsen in recent years.
ad 3.This is a future idea for mutual cooperation, given the recent Atomausstieg in Deutschland, the developments in the Eemshaven (power plants)and the fact of Energy Valley in the north of the Netherlands.

Naturally, more issues can be put on the table.

On 14 September 2006, it was agreed with the management of KIVI-NIRIA's headquarters in The Hague that the Northern Region would strive for more cooperation with its German sister organisations.
This activity aims to give more substance to this. Having already organised a considerable number of activities "cross-border" in recent years.

16:00 Arrival and welcome by host KIVI-NIRIA Noord Nederland at Hotel van der Valk Emmen.
16:00 - 18:00 Introduction round on the basis of brief biographies of all participants known beforehand.
First part of the joint meeting.
18:00 - 19:30 joint dinner in the Restaurant of the Van der Valk Hotel Emmen.
19:30 - 21:00 Second part of the meeting. making follow-up appointments.
