Energy from waste: from volume reduction to power plants
Attero is an innovative force in the production of recovered raw materials and renewable energy. Our roots lie in the large-scale processing of household, organic and mineral waste. Based on our social responsibility, we pay full attention to opportunities for reuse, to the generation of sustainable energy from waste streams and to the environmentally conscious management of landfills. In doing so, we constantly look for new solutions.
In Wijster, the former VAM is part of Attero.
The company visit will focus on:
Waste processing in the broad sense,
Dumping of waste to incineration of waste with energy recovery using steam turbine generator, heat supply to external parties. Wijster has a modern flue gas cleaning facility. New developments regarding plastic post-separation will be discussed.
