Reception at the Water Laboratory, WLN in Glimmen. Presentation and Tour

For 30 years, WLN has ensured that drinking water in Groningen and Drenthe is clean, tasty and healthy. WLN monitors and improves the quality of the drinking water supplied by Waterbedrijf Groningen and Waterleidingmaatschappij Drenthe through chemical, biological and technological research. This task forms the foundation of WLN. With the knowledge and experience we gain as a result, we can also offer other services. This development has accelerated now that our parent companies also supply industrial water and purify wastewater.
Ageing, medicine use in Hospitals, Nuon/Eemshaven, Emmen Zoo are innovative projects involving monitoring water quality now and in the future. WLN is also active in developing new test/monitoring methodologies so that results are known faster or online monitoring becomes possible. This will certainly be covered during the tour of the laboratory
