Corrosion at NHL University of Applied Sciences
Description
Region North organises lectures at NHL University of Applied Sciences. These meetings are open to KIVI members as well as students and teachers from the Institute of Engineering at NHL Hogeschool. This provides an opportunity for all attendees to make new contacts and expand his or her network.
Mr. Ir. Jaap F.J. Verhage, lecturer in materials science at NHL Hogeschool,
will take you into the world of corrosion.
Besides basic knowledge about corrosion, terms like galvanic corrosion, general corrosion and pitting and crevice corrosion may just pass by during this lecture. Mr Jaap F.J. Verhage will tell you about these terms, which are so typical of the field and which you have always wanted to know more about.
Host is the NHL University of Applied Sciences Department of Engineering
Naturally, there will be room for discussion and questions afterwards. Soup and bread will also be provided.
