Discovery tour of Twence
Description
A discovery tour of the Waste-to-Energy Plant near Twente is scheduled on Thursday 4 June. The afternoon's theme is 'Adding value to waste! Energy management and CO2 savings'.
In energy management, the Trias Energetica is a great starting point. The materials we dispose of, waste materials, still contain interesting amounts of energy. They can also be used as raw materials, avoiding large amounts of CO2 in the chain. Can waste materials contribute substantially to CO2 reduction?
Twence will show us on site that waste materials have value!
