Description

Dynamic networks for heat; a swimming pool as energy supplier and user

The municipality of Hengelo is working hard to establish a sustainable heat network. The focus here is not on one supplier, but on several suppliers. In Hengelo, they can use the heat from Akzo-Nobel, Twence and the Twentebad, among others, at least that is the approach of a dynamic heat network.

Mr Melisie of Twentebad will give a presentation on their energy use and supply, while Mr Frank will explain how the umbrella system works.

Of course, we will take a look at the Twentebad's new unique wood-fired boiler. In short, not only power plants have heat to spare, but everyone can do their bit for warmth
