Healthcare has never been under such pressure as it is at the moment; at the same time, interesting new possibilities are being realised from technology that until recently seemed unthinkable. Is this a coincidence or is there a connection?

We have put this question to Ordina, which is closely involved in this topic in all kinds of projects. They will delegate two speakers to show us the way.

- Jasper Jochem: Introduction e-health, trends and developments.
Number of concrete examples in which Ordina is involved include:

- Quli (see www.quli.nl): a personal digital healthcare platform for everyone, young and old, who is actively and independently engaged with his/her personal health
- Serious gaming: heartbeat is used in a game to train the user
- Google Glass: help from virtual reality to increase personal freedom

- Ben van der Veen: E-diagnostics applied in a project in the north of the Netherlands;
Applied technology and practical experience gained.

A short ALV will take place before the presentation. We will conclude with drinks at the Drienerburght bar
