Engineer Café
Description
Infrared thermography is a quick and simple method for detecting the causes of energy loss, moisture and electrical problems in buildings. Of course, the infrared camera (thermal imaging camera) has a much wider use, such as for medical and military applications.
So what can you do with a thermal imaging camera, what are its capabilities and what are its limitations? On this evening, three speakers will talk about the thermal imaging camera and especially its application from different angles.
First, an employee of Fluke, supplier of thermal imaging cameras, will explain the camera. Subsequently, Bram Entrop and Sergei Miller will talk about their experiences with infrared thermography in building physics and civil engineering, respectively.
