Founder of Innodrill LLC, an innovative drilling company in Houston Texas. Drilling manager 3 Huisman LOC wells employed for Apache and Fidelity; Drilling manager for Northern Petroleum Netherlands B.V. ; Design consultant Noble/Shell Globetrotter with Huisman.

In 2010 Dick Swart received the "Colonel Drake Award" from the KIVI and in 2012 the "North Sea Regional Drilling Engineering Award" from the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
