Who hasn't heard of LinkedIn? A digital career network on which you can present yourself as an endowed employee or employer. There is the possibility to exchange ideas and join communities. Via LinkedIn, you can make new contacts to collaborate on larger projects, but it is also possible to restore old contacts when the business cards you have in your possession turn out to be outdated.


On Friday 5 November, Bas Westland of Rise will explain the possibilities of LinkedIn. The presentation is entitled "LinkedIn LIVE". Rise is a training and consultancy agency in Baarn that teaches professionals and companies to actively use LinkedIn and other social media to attract assignments or employees.

If you have specific questions about using LinkedIn, email them to kiviniria@utwente.nl before 1 November. Bas Westland will then try to include them as much as possible in his presentation.

After the presentation, during the drinks, you can have a quiet chat with fellow engineers and BTC entrepreneurs about how to set up and use your account at LinkedIn
