Learn more about entrepreneurial skills
The KIVI (Royal Institute of Engineers) North Division, held a meeting in Beilen on Tuesday night to brush up on their entrepreneurship skills.
This is done with LE-Game silver, a slightly expanded and more realistic version of the entrepreneurship game LE-Game. This version also includes recording buying and selling transactions, calculating VAT (inclusive & exclusive), remitting VAT and other administrative operations.
Description
Learn more about your entrepreneurial skills through play!
For more than 10 years, Henk Roelofs of LE-Network and NHL Stenden has experienced that role-play simulations are very effective for learning processes. "Entrepreneurial skills are my passion," he states. Using the game simulations and behavioural style scans, several publications have been created and presented at various conferences. Some publications have also been presented in international magazines.
Tonight, Henk will play the LE-Game Entrepreneurship Game with us. In the Entrepreneurship game 'LE-Game', participants can experience the practice of entrepreneurship in all its aspects, such as creating added value and being constantly exposed to competition, paying VAT, seeing opportunities and possibilities, etc. The objective for each participant is to become and remain a successful profitable business. With LE-Game, entrepreneurship competences of the participants can be activated, in a game simulation where both successes and making mistakes are positive, because you learn from them. LE-Game is a game simulation in which each participant is given a role as an independent entrepreneur with the corresponding business card of his company. In the total market, traders, producers and suppliers all operate with the same starting capital: €2500.
It will be a fun evening with lots of humour and fun in which you can experience for yourself your own entrepreneurial skills, your behavioural style, etc. You will see how the evening starts with chaos and uncertainty and this turns into structure and cooperation during the rounds. You will learn to look at the behaviour of yourself and your peers with humour.
Sign up before 27 November.
