Description

Networking is an important social skill that we don't get taught anywhere in training. Some are naturally proficient, others find it difficult. In a collaborative economy, networking is not reserved for entrepreneurs, directors and salespeople. Networking is also indispensable for people in technical positions. And ultimately it helps everyone who ever has to look around for a new job.

This interactive workshop, given by Martijn Geerdink of USG Innotiv, is ideally suited for engineers. It will address questions such as

- How do you create a well-functioning network?
- How do you create your own yellow pages?
- How do you put yourself on someone else's brain list?

After the workshop, there will be an opportunity to taste whisky while networking. A true whisky expert will discuss the flavour aspects of whisky and how to name them. During this tasting, the following will be discussed:

- Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey
- Grant's Family Reserve Blended Scotch Whisky
- Glen Grant non-aged
- Glenfiddich 12 years old
- Glenfiddich 15 years old
- The Balvenic DoubleWood 12 years old

Whatever can be said about whisky in the end, "The proof is in the tasting"!
