New Year meeting and beer tasting
On Wednesday 11 January, the New Year's meeting of Region East took place at the Twentse Bierbrouwerij. After a short New Year's speech, participants were shown around by the brewmaster. Naturally, there was then ample opportunity to taste the brew. There were about 60 participants, the atmosphere was fine and such a visit is definitely worth repeating!
Description
This year, we are guests of the Twentse Bierbrouwerij for the New Year's meeting.
The brewery is located in the Creatieve Fabriek in Hengelo, the industrial heart of Overijssel. Electric motors used to be made here. The renovated factory halls, which have a special light, industrial atmosphere and high level, house event spaces and offices in addition to the brewery.
The brewmaster of the Twentse Bierbrouwerij will welcome us with a cup of coffee or tea. After the New Year speech by the chairman of Region East, the brewmaster will take us to the brewery for a story about the establishment of the brewery and the brewhouse. Afterwards, a short film will explain the brewing process. Of course, there will also be the opportunity to taste the beer!
