Recycling of electronic equipment

Recydur is a Dutch recycling company specialising in the processing of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). The electrical appliances are converted into various raw materials for the production of new appliances. This form of recycling prevents environmental damage and saves a lot of energy.

During this visit you will get insight in how Recydur contributes to reuse of materials in an environmentally friendly way. Which devices and materials are involved, how is the logistics organised, which national and international regulations must be complied with and what are the recycled materials used for again? What guidelines should equipment designers and manufacturers follow?
