Engineering Day HEIM
Description
On Saturday 24 January, KIVI NIRIA Region East, in cooperation with the Twents Techniekmuseum HEIM in Hengelo, is organising a special do-afternoon to bring engineering closer to young people. The children aged 6-12 will be divided into three age categories and will work in small groups on a piece of technology that is interesting and understandable to them. They will be guided by an engineer who will be happy to share his/her passion for technology with the youngsters.
It promises to be another instructive and above all fun afternoon and who knows, maybe we will succeed in making the children realise that a lot of things, even in everyday life, revolve around technology. We hope this will not only interest them now, but also in the future in this fascinating profession.
Because HEIM does not have enough volunteers to supervise the children, we would like to appeal to the members of KIVI NIRIA. We know from previous years that this day is also very inspiring for supervisors! Would you like to help? Please contact Elfride Dijkstra for more information.
Please register your children before 16 January via the e-mail address below.
Access only with confirmation of participation. Max. 120 children.
