Description

Good results during recent cycling seasons, increasing brand awareness and then also the Engineer of the Year award, it can't stop for Gérard Vroomen, co-owner of Cervélo. Vroomen tells his story during a tour of the Netherlands.
That story is a bit like a boy's book. Fifteen years ago, mechanical engineering student Vroomen, together with fellow student Phil White, tinkered together a revolutionary time-trial bike. Now he is co-owner of Cervélo, a company that produces high-end bikes and has its own online TV station. Carlos Sastre, cyclist with the CSC team, won the 2008 Tour de France on 'his' bike.

Besides an inspiring lecture by Gérard Vroomen, people can also compete against each other on road bikes. The game known from the television programme Holland Sport is outside by the Career Bus. Competing against each other and against the clock, each participant can thus make history in his own boys' (or girls') book.

Prior to this activity, there will be a short ALV of the East Region.
