For more than 50 years, Biddle in Kootstertille has designed and manufactured climate control equipment for applications in buildings. Technological innovation has given the company a strong international position in the climate sector. Via branches in England, France, Germany, Belgium and Canada and distributors in various countries, Biddle products are sold worldwide. In Kootstertille, 75 employees work on the development, production and sales of the climate products. As a Dutch manufacturer and supplier of innovative products, Biddle excels in customised climate solutions.
Biddle has put a lot of energy into implementing "LEAN" principles in the organisation. Based on these Lean principles, the entire production process has been redesigned, resulting in a much more manageable production process.
In addition, Biddle has recently introduced the most energy-efficient comfort air curtain, model CA2, to the market and expects this to boost sales considerably. To maintain its innovative character, Biddle will soon have to start developing a successor.....how can Biddle further optimise an optimally functioning product?
