At the general members' meeting of Regio Noord on 23 February, ir. Coen Groen received the institute medal from ir. Dirk van Oerle, chairman of Regio Noord. Piet Dijkshoorn was also appointed Member of Merit.
Coen Groen received the institute medal for his many achievements for the association and his involvement in the establishment and leadership of three departments. Both with regard to the then KIVI Chamber in Groningen and with regard to Coen's input at the meetings of the Council of Members and Financial Committee, the KIVI office has experienced and learned to appreciate Coen as a positive-minded KIVI member who can be counted on.
"Thank you very much for this appreciation of my activities for KIVI. I very much appreciate the medal and hope to be able to do a lot more for KIVI," said Coen Groen.
Member of Merit
At the same meeting, ir. Piet Dijkshoorn was appointed Member of Merit. Piet was also surprised and pleased with the award.
Piet: "Thanks for the recognition, this motivates me to take up business for Region North with even more energy. With such a team on the Board, it is great fun to work together and achieve things".
