A sub-group of the Sounding Board Group Engineers and Energy Transition commented on the plans of 30 Regional Energy Strategies.
What stands out is that the Regions are seemingly arbitrarily determined and the 35 TWh capacity they are supposed to generate is not substantiated. The question is whether the RES plans have sufficient support. An example is making existing homes more sustainable which involves very high costs.
