Region Noord consists of the provinces Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe. In this region, the board of Regio Noord organises about 20 activities a year. These activities are great opportunities to meet other members and to learn about interesting organisations and topics. More than 1,100 KIVI members live and work in the North Region. The board meets about 4 to 5 times a year on location or via Skype. Goals of the board are:
- Informing members about technical and social developments in education and business.
- Organising interesting company visits, lectures and conferences.
- Facilitating networking for members.
Board members
We are also looking for new motivated board members. Given the current composition of the board, we are looking for recent graduates and engineers at the start of their careers. Within the board, we will ensure a careful transfer of knowledge.
Apart from working for the region, you will naturally gain great experience in the functioning of professional and interest associations and the work of a board member. You can also build a large network and contribute to interesting company visits.
