Presentation with viewing of sustainable energy application in a model home. The engineering firm Dubotechniek is a pioneer in the development and application of sustainable energy sources. It develops systems around heat and cold storage in the soil, aimed at increasing comfort while saving energy. The comfort system with heat pump and underfloor heating replaces the central heating boiler and radiators.
As a general contractor, Dubotechniek takes care of the entire process, from drawing up the plans, working out the tax and subsidy regulations, putting together the comfort system geared to the location and the requirements of the building, installing the system up to and including explaining it to the end user.

The company's coordinating role between the client and project developers, contractors, architects and installers led to the need to enter into optimum cooperation with market parties in applications for sustainable and energy-saving systems with optimal comfort for the user. To this end, the Dubotechniek Trade Centre was opened in 2004, where some 20 entrepreneurs in the field of sustainable energy systems have set up a permanent exhibition where they show their specific solutions for sustainable energy applications. All equipment is set up in operation so that interested parties can see, hear and feel what it is all about.
In order to show the application of the sustainable energy systems in residential construction, utilities, residential care and nursing, the Dubotechniek Belevingscentrum has now been set up where, after the ope-ning at the end of 2008, it can be seen how a complete VolkerWessels home, a Penthouse and an office have been connected to all these sustainable techniques.

In the Belevingscentrum, you can learn about sustainable energy techniques, the application and operation, practical measurements, service and maintenance. Techniques on display include: heat pumps, mini CHP, underfloor heating/cooling, vertical soil exchanger, open source system, balanced ventilation, air handling unit, solar thermal systems, solar PV systems, shower heat exchanger, monitoring, remote control, readout system.
The presentation on the application of Renewable Energy Systems in residential and commercial construction will be given at the Dubotechniek Belevingscentrum.
