For several years now, the board of KIVI NIRIA Region South has been calling its new members and those who have settled in our Region as KIVI NIRIA members, to welcome them personally.
Recently, however, the number of new registrations in a short period of time was so high that this became practically unfeasible and it was decided to invite the members who have signed up in the last few months to an extra introductory meeting prior to an already planned activity on 18 February next

We hope to welcome you that evening around 18:30 over a sandwich and a cup of soup in the middle room of Zalencentrum Prinsenhof in Best.
At 19:00 there will then be a short introduction by the chairman of Region South drs.ing. Cor van den Bosch, in which he will introduce you to the structure of the Region and then there will be an opportunity to meet, and fire your questions at, the board and a number of members of the Region.
At 20:00, a particularly interesting lecture by the CTO of Sapiens Steering Brain Stimulation prof.dr.ir. Michel Decré.
The topic of his presentation is Deep Brain Stimulation: Current state and technological innovations. The lecture itself will also be attended by existing members of the Region.

All in all, an excellent opportunity to make your entrance into a network of ca.3900 engineers of various disciplines living in Region South.
