New Year reception with presentation
Description
presentation: Robots in our Society.
This year, our New Year's reception will shine the spotlight on robots. In an engaging presentation, we will get an insight into how robots are going to have a place in our society and how that might affect our lives, well-being and care.
Come with your partner for a lively evening, get to know our new members and meet your acquaintances. Added lustre will be added by the speaker who will take us into the future of automation and robotisation in all our daily lives. New members, board, veterans and partners always experience this festive gathering as worth repeating.
After receiving coffee and tea, the chairman of our Region South will do the opening speech with a brief review of last year and intentions for the coming year. After the break, the presentation of the evening will follow, 'the future of Brabant'. Before, during the break and after the presentation until the end of the evening, there will be plenty of room to catch up with each other over a snack and a drink.
In his presentation, Lambèr Royakkers briefly recalls that our cars can already be driven by autopilot, that charming robots talk to elderly people and help them with small household matters, and also a robot - pet is available everywhere. He then elaborates on how, in addition to technical development, thorough thought is now being given to what robots might fill in and how that might start to affect our society
