The Techcafé is the central meeting place for professionals in the high-tech and manufacturing sectors. Whether you’re an engineer, designer, entrepreneur or student, our Techcafé offers you the chance to network, exchange ideas and learn more about the latest developments in the industry. Each edition focuses on a single main theme. During the talk show, experts share their knowledge to inspire and encourage the development and implementation of new ideas within organisations.

The Techcafé is organised by DSPE, Brainport Industries and Mikrocentrum.

Theme for the 10 December edition: Cyber Resilience Act Countdown 2027.

The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) is fast approaching. The first reporting obligations are already in force, and from 11 December 2027, the key CRA obligations will apply in full. For many hardware and software manufacturers, this means that cybersecurity must become a demonstrable part of product development, documentation and the entire product lifecycle.

At ‘CRA Countdown 2027: From Obligation to Competitive Advantage’, we’ll be bridging the gap between legislation and practice. What does the CRA mean in practical terms for your products, processes and supply chain? And more importantly: what do you need to do now to be prepared in time?

By the end of this afternoon, you’ll have a clearer understanding of three key questions:

Does my product or organisation fall under the CRA?

What practical changes need to be made?

What is our next step?
