Vanderlande supplies automated material handling systems and related services. The company is active in the markets for airport baggage handling, distribution centres and postal and express parcel sorting facilities. The company implements material handling systems of widely varying sizes, from local sorting depots, airports and distribution centres to the world's largest facilities. Vanderlande has sales of EUR 1.5 billion and employs 4,600 people, about 60% of whom have a university or higher vocational education.
The systems and services focus on improving customers' logistics processes and enhancing their logistics performance today, tomorrow and throughout their life cycle. The company aims for close cooperation with the customer from the initial analysis of the underlying business processes through to support throughout the entire lifecycle.
